The Art of Mindful Living
Mindfulness Training with Michele Naphen, LCSW
Mindfulness is the process of paying attention, on purpose, with curiosity and openness, in the present moment.
- How would you feel if you had a way to notice thoughts, rather than becoming “caught up” in them?
- Would you like a way to experience more clarity when you feel overwhelmed or confused?
- Can you see yourself being more fully open, present, and engaged with creating the work that you truly want to do in the world?
Through The Art of Mindful Living program, Michele offers mindful training sessions for individuals. Michele’s experience and expertise is in the integration of mindfulness and presence as the ground of wakefulness in the busyness of our modern lives, particularly our work lives.
During Art of Mindful Living individual training sessions you will learn and practice:
- the main attitudes and teachings of mindfulness.
- brief mindful breathing practices for tapping into mindfulness anytime, anywhere.
- sitting and walking meditation as the foundational mindfulness practices.
- practical ways to integrate mindful ways of being into everyday activities, such as listening and speaking in conversation with others and managing our to do lists.
- how being unconditionally present with our thoughts, emotions, and bodies can help inquire and gain clarity into making changes in your career.
You will receive individual attention and feedback which is specifically tailored to you, including recommendations and materials for practicing on your own. We will address your particular questions, challenges, and issues. Sessions can be scheduled to fit your convenience and needs.
Michele’s passion is helping individuals explore and develop unique, creative ways for living with present moment awareness and clarifying changes they may want to make in their work or career.
All sessions are currently held using Zoom.
Michele offers a free initial half hour consultation to assess and identify what you may be looking for in applying mindfulness and presence to making changes in your career, and how she and The Art of Mindful Living can be of benefit to you.
She will also be happy to answer questions via email.Michele Naphen, LCSW
